The owner, Big Daddy gets 5 stars for solving my problem and making me feel like a valued customer. The food was good.

I was in the area and quite peckish, so wanted to grab something inexpensive but filling. Did a quick #GoogleMaps search and landed on this spot. Ambiance/Vibe 3/5 Nothing to write home about, either way (good or bad). I didn't realize looking online but this is one of your standard soul food kitchen situations. I, unfortunately, don't know the technical name of these kinds of restaurants but they are all over ATL. You are NOT coming here to be cutesy and snap pics for the gram, you coming to EAT! Service 5/5 No issues. The line was at the door when we arrived but the staff moves it along as fast as the customer (meaning an indecisive customer = longer waiting times in line). Once we got up front, the staff were very courteous, helpful and friendly. Food 5/5 I got the 2 turkey wing meal with collards and cornbread dressing. They have a regular turkey wing and a jersey turkey wing, so I got 1 of each wing. The jerk seasoning was not spicy at all, which I enjoyed and the meat was more tender, I felt than the regular one but they both were tasty. The sides were siding. Drinks ?/5 Did not order anything to drink but they have some in house Lemonade, etc you can purchase. Final Verdict 5/5 I know it's a lot of... other reviews with lower ratings but that's their business, and I can't relate especiallysince this was my 1st visit. As for me and mine, it was pretty standard as far as what I expect from this kind of restaurant but I've never seen jerk turkey wings. I also liked that none of the sides have meat, so you can enjoy them guilt free if you are a vegetarian. I can't say I would necessarily go out of my way to come back, because I'd have to past like 5 similar restaurants to get here, but if I'm in the area, I'd #SpinTheBlock for sure. Pro-Tip: there is also a location on Old National which is larger (and has apple cobbler) but from what I'm told the line is out the DOOR on a Sunday so, maybe hit the Campbellton location if you're thinking about trying on a Sunday. Sadly my food didn't last long enough to get a picture, the second I got home I ate everything but the Styrofoam

Walked into to see 3 tables of homemade cakes, the servers plus cashier were so helpful in all the choices of food, the restaurant is clean with comfortable booths to sit back, relax and ENJOY every bite full of deliciousness

The service was excellent, friendly staff, and food is great . First time visiting family in Atlanta and was looking for southern food this was the first place that popped up that was near. I purchased the lunch special Meatloaf, Mac n cheese, and greens. The flavor in everything is good . Also tried the famous lemonade that comes in a variety of flavors to choose from. Sweet and good. If anyone hasn't traveled to Atl yet, I definitely recommend trying out Big Daddys Kitchen. Good is great

We arrived right before the Saturday lunch rush. The staff got everyone thru the line quick and easy. This location is clean and spacious and the food was on point. The smothered pork chops, fried chicken and oxtails were delicious. The sides were also delectable. Big Daddy's gets 5 stars from us!

First time coming here and it was a bit confusing ordering the food. It was a great experience and the food was delicious. We got 2 smothered pork chops, macaroni, greens, dressing, cornbread and a peach lemonade. I don't really like the restaurants in Atlanta but this one was a hit. FINALLY, food with flavor. Reminded me of home
